Our Leadership Team
Allan Jones, Ph.D., Founder and President
Allan oversees the branding and strategic direction of the company, forging relationships with key leaders in the construction and related market. Prior to Contractor Businessman, Allan founded Discovery Ice Cream, LLC where he and his team created the world's first robotic ice cream machines. He earned his Ph.D. in material science from The University of Akron, and received his Executive MBA from the MIT Sloan School. Allan’s expertise in innovation and marketing was nurtured during his executive leadership with two Fortune 500 companies.
Kym McLaughlin, Vice President of Marketing
Kym is a world-class expert in SEO and PPC website strategies. Prior to WSM, she formed Advanced Internet Marketing in 1996, where she offers a deep wealth of insight and experience that has wowed hundreds of her clients. Kym bubbles with creativity and pizzazz, and speaks frequently on the subject of Search and Marketing.
John Wallen, Vice President of Technology
John manages the intricacies of our hosting platforms and technologies. John has been in the computer technology field for 25 years. Prior to joining Contractor Businessman, he held leadership positions with Newmont Mining and Maxus Energy, Sears and Talbots catalog sales, and Alpha Freight logistics. John also started Precision I.T. Consulting in Ohio, a successful company providing network services for small to medium sized businesses.
